The Graduate Program in Environment and Sustainability (PPGAS) (Master) has an interdisciplinary proposal, aimed at professionals from various areas, who will produce work with applicability to meet the socio-environmental demands.
The course aims to train masters in advanced technical-scientific levels able to act in the diagnosis, prevention, solution and integrated management of environmental problems, in order to seek the maintenance and/or improvement of socio-environmental quality in local, regional and national levels.

Graduate Programme in Agro-industrial Systems and Processes – Master
The Graduate Program in Agro-industrial Systems and Processes (PPGSPA) (Master) is an interdisciplinary program that aggregates different areas of knowledge, complementary in the coordination and development of these systems. Through the interdisciplinary approach, PPGSPA recognises the importance of all participants involved in the supply of raw materials, production, logistics and commercialisation of agro-industrial products. The Agroindustrial System also includes agricultural suppliers, farmers, storage operators, wholesalers, retailers and the final consumer, all involved in the process of adding value. Furthermore, such system includes the various institutions that coordinate and influence the successive stages of agroindustrial production, among them the government, markets, associations and cooperatives. The disciplines of the PPGSPA, at FURG's Santo Antônio da Patrulha campus, are derived from the integration of knowledge from the areas of Applied Social Sciences, Engineering and Exact Sciences. Through the domain and integration of this knowledge, technologies and efficient strategies will be developed to search for innovative alternatives and propose changes in processes, guiding segments of the Agroindustrial System.

Graduate Program in Food Science and Technology - Master
Offered at the university campus in Encantado/RS, the Professional Master's Degree in Food Science and Technology has a multidisciplinary proposal, aimed at professionals from various areas who work in the food production chain in topics related to food science, and who will produce work with applicability to meet regional, state and national demands. The main objective of the course is to train masters in advanced technical-scientific level by developing studies and research, creating skills and abilities to act in the diagnosis, prevention, solution and integrated management of problems and development of proposals in the scope of Food Science and Technology in regional, national and international levels.
